Cake smash photography sessions are the most popular way to celebrate your little one's first birthday. This is a fun way to capture them turning one and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Please note I also offer birthday sessions without the cake if you would rather keep it less messy.

What's included in my cake smash photoshoot?

These sessions will include a professionally baked cake by Sugar and Slice Cakes and simplistic decorations to compliment the photos but not take the focus off your little one as that is my main priority. We will start with a mini portrait session, followed by the cake smash and ending with splash session to clean up. If you are lucky enough to have any cake left at the end of the session you are welcome to take it home!

When is the best time to book in my cake smash session?

I would advise booking in the session for around 3 weeks before you little ones birthday to ensure you get the images back in time.

How long do cake smash sessions last?

Cake smash sessions will last between 1-2 hours.

When will my images be ready to view?

You will gain access to an online gallery within a couple of days of your session where you can view proof copies and choose your images. I will then aim to get your edited images back to you within 2 weeks of you choosing.
